Users who already have a Disney+ Hotstar subscription need not worry. Users who are new and want to subscribe to Hotstar will have to pay Rs 149 per month. Whereas for 3 months, only Rs 499 will have to be spent.

JioHotstar CEO Kiran Mani said, “Our aim is to provide users with the best content experience on a single platform. The merger of JioCinema and Disney+ Hotstar will enable us to provide all types of quality content to our viewers at a low cost. He also informed that content from Warner Bros, HBO, Max Originals, Colors and other major content providers will also be available on the platform. This will provide better entertainment to the people.
One name And More Than 100 Channels
Under the merger of Jio Cinema and Disney+ Hotstar, the new venture will have the rights to popular TV brands like Star and Colors, and Jio Cinema and Disney+ Hotstar will also merge. After the merger, Jio Star has an ecosystem of more than 100 TV channels, and the company has a base of 5 crore users on the digital platform. Nita Ambani has been made the chairperson of this joint venture, while Uday Shankar is the vice chairperson. Under Jio Tara, more than 100 TV channels will produce more than 30 thousand hours of TV content every year, which will be delivered to the people through this channel. The company has appointed three CEOs to manage them.
